Nairobi - Day 4
Brooke and I were off this afternoon to a great adventure in town. I took her to the Masai market ... having been just off the plane the night prior she was a bit overwhelmed but up for the adventure. We walked and walk and the people were amazed by her tattoos and asked questions over and over about them... she was a trooper. It is going to be great to work and travel with her!
The big news of the day is that MY TEAM ARRIVED! It is going to be wonderful to head up country tomorrow - a short 10 hour van ride. With stops at the Equator so that they can take pictures - a right of passage for those who are going over for the first time. We will also be stopping in Eldoret (my old stomping grounds) to purchase beds and mattresses. I can not wait to see how my one time home has changed.
We should reach Kimilili around 7 pm - wish us luck as we have four beds already there and 7 people. That being said we are unsure of the internet situation so if I do not post for a day or two please know that I have not wandered into Uganda or been whisked away by the Savanah baboons that tend to frequent the stop at the Equator.

Best of luck on your travels up the country! I know I am looking forward to hearing about all the group is accomplishing together. ~ Alex. S
